Reg Week Resource Folder

BuckeyeThon Youth Philanthropy Registration Week will begin on September 29th, and end on October 6th (Day of Miracles!). This week is a push to get people in your school registered for BuckeyeThon and get your community cause-connected! This may seem like a big task, but we have created a toolkit of resources to help you (linked above).

Below is a very brief Reg Week plan template & a list of ideas you could implement at your school. This is only where the ideas begin, use this page as a starting kit.

We highly encourage you to personalize any of our templates & think out of the box. How will you connect students at your school to our cause?

BEFORE REGISTRATION WEEK

• ASAP: Plan a registration event! Ex. Football Friday or Fun Friday event
• 1 week before registration week: hang up flyers for this event
• 2 weeks before: submit announcements to school newspaper or speaker announcements
• 2-4 weeks in advance: request BT families or GB members for any events/sessions you want them at
• Plan & spread the word of a BuckeyeThon registration information session
• Make a BuckeyeThon hype video explaining our cause

DURING REGISTRATION WEEK

Wednesday, September 29th (complete some of this the day before!)

• Hang up reg week flyers
• Make announcements in morning/end of the day/at lunchtime
• Host a registration week information session

Thursday, September 30th

• Make announcements in morning/end of the day/at lunchtime
